the Simon Community
IKEA Dublin supports The Simon Community
We are pleased to announce our new charity of the year The Simon Community.
The Simon Communities throughout Ireland provide the best possible care, accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness and those at risk. Together, with people who are homeless, Simon tackles the root causes, promotes innovative responses and urges the government to fulfil their commitments.
Simon delivers support and service to over 5,000 individuals and families who experience - or are at risk of - homelessness on an annual basis.
The Simon Communities of Ireland is an affiliation of local Communities in Cork, Dublin, Dundalk, Galway, the Midlands, the Mid West, the North West and the South East.

Native woodland trust
Native woodlant trust
Native Woodland Trust is Ireland's fastest growing organisation dedicated to the preservation of our Ancient Woodlands and to the planting of new trees and woods all over Ireland.
IKEA FAMILY and the Native woodland trust have teamed up to present the "Trees for communities" initiative. We are donating 30 free native trees to communities nationwide. We want as many communities as possible to participate to make this a success and to create a small native woodland in their local area. This will help the environment and teach children from a young age all about trees.
As an IKEA FAMILY member you can apply on behalf of your community group, keep posted to find out when the next application phase is open.
