The more-than-laundry room

01 August 2015

Fact: Laundry is boring. So we asked our interior designer, Anna, to create a laundry station that was both functional and fun. She chose to recreate a Mediterranean café, but if you’re ready to liven up your laundry area, too, go with whatever theme inspires you!

Always consider the lighting

There are lots of ways to get creative with lighting. Anna used porcelain cups to fit this theme. Here’s how you can do it, too.

PRACTICALLY SPEAKING

Keep in mind that no matter how much you end up enjoying your new laundry space, at its best it should be just that – a place to take care of the laundry. Leave yourself enough room to sort and fold, and it will all feel seamless.
