The 2-hour tip: 3 wall wonders

01 April 2016

When the seasons change, that urge for a makeover starts to creep in. Even into our homes. Instead of a complete overhaul and breaking the bank, a simple change to your walls can make a huge difference and give you the freedom to switch things up as the next season approaches. And yes, you can totally do it in two hours or less.

1. SIGNAL THE COMING OF THE NEW SEASON WITH FLOWERS. Press and dry your favourites, and pin them in a display box. So minimal and so perfect.

2. WE LOVE TO TRANSFORM A SPACE WITH TEXTILES. And frames always give structure and an instant boost. But textiles and frames together? How could we resist? Graphic prints and sheer, pretty lace alike, take on new life when they’re showcased in simple frames. But why stop there? Wrap the frame itself in cloth and even use it to hang them.

3. WHAT’S YOUR PASSION? Pick your theme (we’ve caught the travel bug and are dreaming of faraway lands), and put it on display. And since we all know passions change, it’s easy to  revamp the space with a new focus.
