Bring some more living to your living room

01 December 2015

Sometimes we all get into a living room rut with the sofa in the same place because, well, it’s always been like that. We thought we’d change things up and use 6 elements of this SÖDERHAMN sofa to see how many different practical living spaces we could make that also bring a fun element to the living room. Come see!

1. TURN UP THE COSY DIAL ON MOVIE NIGHT by making a giant lie down space. This setup uses 2 chaise longues, 2 corner seats, a one seat and and a pouffe all directed towards the TV. All that’s needed is some popcorn (and maybe for everyone to agree on a movie).

2. TV AND DINNER. By bringing two of the corner sofa elements to the back, you can make this quite elegant dinner space, while still having a stretch out chillout sofa up front.

3. BOOK GROUP, WINE CLUB, MAYBE A BIG BREAKFAST TOGETHER - this sofa set-up is all about interaction. With each section facing together, you can make a fun, casual space to meet and enjoy each others company.

4. BUT OF COURSE SOMETIMES YOU NEED YOUR OWN SPACE TOO. By putting all the elements back to back, everyone on the sofa can get their own activity space for working, reading, watching TV — while still close enough to enjoy being together.
