A bedroom for the whole family

01 May 2016

Let’s face it, kids when they’re small sometimes spend more time in our beds than in their own. One solution could be to embrace this phase of life and share one bedroom for the whole family.

SHARED FAMILY BEDROOM

Just because you’re both in the same room doesn’t mean you all need to share the same bedtime. An easy fix is to hang a textile or use a room divider to block off your reading light.

Make a bedroom space where your kids are close and feel safe by setting up their bed next to your own. Another way to help personalise a shared space is by painting the walls with a different colour scheme for kids and parents. You could also try using hanging storage so everyone’s favourite things are within easy reach.
