IKEA has received reports showing that the large mirror can detach and fall, creating sharp shards when it breaks. The mirror is heavy and combined with the risk of breaking it poses a hazard to users.

PAX AURLAND mirror door is manufactured by the same supplier that produces the currently recalled ELGÅ FENSTAD mirror door. Parallel investigation identified similar problems for a limited number of PAX AURLAND mirror doors. The affected production weeks are 1039 – 1048 (YYWW). The product name PAX AURLAND and the production week and supplier number is printed on the rear of the mirror door, lower edge.

Customers with a PAX AURLAND mirror door from supplier #12650 are asked to contact IKEA Customer Service on 1890 876 707 to receive instructions on how to receive a replacement mirror door free of charge.
