The catalogue offers not only a glimpse of the diverse IKEA product range but also affordable solutions and creative approaches to help inspire home furnishing ideas for better living.
2. When does the new catalogue come out?
The annual catalogue comes out around August or September of each year. It lists the prices of the products which will remain valid for one year. In it, you'll discover our furnishings, accessories and room settings along with detailed information on materials, colours, sizes, product care and prices. That way you can plan your next visit to IKEA all from the comfort of your own home!
3. How can I get a copy of the IKEA catalogue?
The IKEA catalogue is mass-distributed in large scale residential estates all around Hong Kong around August or September. Or you can stop by the IKEA store near you for a free copy. While stock lasts.
4. How environmentally friendly is the IKEA catalogue?
Our catalogues are printed on totally chlorine-free paper and contain at least
10-15% post-consumer waste. No rainforest or old-growth fibres are used. The
pre-press process is 100% digital, which means no film is used and none of the associated chemicals. No optical brighteners are used on the paper.

There are about 7,500 items in our HK product range. Each store carries selected items, depending on store size.
2. Where are IKEA products purchased?
Our products are manufactured by more than 2,000 suppliers in over 50 countries, and they carry the same profile, which is good design, high quality, and distinctively Swedish/Scandinavian. The low price is literally built into the production and the flat packs facilitate a rational distribution, self service and immediate take away. All of our products are labeled "Design and Quality, IKEA of Sweden."

4. How can I get large items home?
Most IKEA products are flat-packed in sturdy cardboard boxes. It makes them easy to carry home. By taking them home yourself, you can put the delivery driver's wages straight into your own pocket and save money. But if you need a hand, home delivery is always available.

5. What if I want to have the products assembled?
IKEA products are generally easy to assemble and require no special tools. However, if you prefer, assembly service is also available. The charge is 10% of your purchased goods, to a maximum of $1,200 (except outlying islands).
Please note that this assembly service is strictly limited to IKEA product parts assembly and not applicable to kitchen areas.
6. Why does IKEA charge customers on delivery and assembly service?
You see, unlike other furniture stores, right from the start, we do not build the delivery and assembly costs into the price of our products. So you can choose whether to use these additional services, and at an affordable charge.
7. Do you custom-make furniture?
All IKEA products are designed in Sweden and imported, that is why they are not custom-made. But you will also notice that most of our furnishings are modular in nature, which means you can 'customise' by picking pieces that would fit your own interior.

9. What type of payment does IKEA accept?
We accept payment by cash, EPS, credit card (VISA, Master, Diners, American Express or China UnionPay) and cheque. If you pay by cheque, we will arrange for delivery once it is cleared. We also have a 6-month or 12-month interest free instalment plan for the designated credit card.
To enjoy this privilege, you need to apply for approval of instalment plan from the relevant/respective bank first, and your purchase must not be less than $2,000, so you can 'use now, pay later'.
10. Is there any free parking service at the IKEA stores?
We offer a redemption scheme for free parking at our Shatin and Kowloon Bay Store for purchases up to a certain amount.
