Pick and Mix
LÖRDAGSGODIS
Do you have a sweet tooth? If you do then you are in for a treat! A new pick and mix station has arrived in IKEA Edinburgh's Swedish Food Market.

“Lördagsgodis” is a wellknown term to all Swedes meaning Saturday sweets. Naturally, sweets can be enjoyed any day of the week, but many Swedes limit it to Saturdays in celebration of the weekend.

The pick and mix way of buying sweets is very popular. In Sweden, it’s seen in most grocery stores and in many other places as well. This way, you can make a personal mix of goodies. Choose only your favourite, one of each or go crazy mixing however you please – all sweets are 70p for 100g.

Keep the kids entertained...
Our crèche is open 10am - 6pm everyday (last admission 4:40pm) and kids from 3–9 years old can spend one hour having fun in a safe environment while you shop!

There’s a soft play area, dressing up box, puzzles and DVD’s as well as craft activities and a story corner. We ask for a £1 donation for each child which goes to community projects in our local area.

Recycle for Scotland
Turn your recycling into awards
Did you know? Making a can from recycled materials instead of new saves enough energy to power a television for three hours. Recycled plastic bottles can also be turned into all sorts of new things, from park benches to fleece jackets!

Any can, plastic bottle or glass bottle bought in our store can now be recycled using a brand new Recycle & Reward Machine in our Customer Restaurant.

Get vouchers worth 10p per can and 10p per glass or plastic bottle each time you use it!

At the moment our machines can only accept products bought within IKEA Edinburgh.
