  • Textiles workshop

    Reclaim, Revive, Re-love, Repeat

Pop along to one of the weekly scheduled Textile Revival Workshops at IKEA Cardiff and we’ll show you how to repair and refresh your unwanted textiles (please feel free to bring your old textiles with you!) Caring for your most prized possessions is something we all try our utmost to do, and here at IKEA Cardiff, we’re no exception. Whether you want to breathe new life into cushions of old, or part ways with them for good, we’re here to help.

    Book a place now.

We’ll pass any textiles you don’t use in our workshops onto our local charity partner, the Cardiff YMCA, who use these to support homeless people in our community. It doesn’t matter how old they are; be they clothing, cushion covers or a pair of old curtains, Cardiff YMCA can use your textiles in a variety of ways. From donating directly to people in need, to providing upcycling opportunities through a YMCA retail and recycling unit for residents and volunteers alike, no matter where they go, they’ll be put to good use.  Find the drop off point near the returns area.
