    Swedish Celebrations
    Santa Lucia
    Come to IKEA on the Sunday 13th December between 12 and 3pm and celebrate the Swedish tradition of Santa Lucia with us.

    Santa Lucia is an important Swedish tradition in the lead up to Christmas where 'Lucia' appears in her white gown and red ribbon around her waist with a wreath of lingonberry sprigs and candles on her head.She is followed by a group of 'Lucia maids' and 'star boys' singing.

    The audience is then treated to pastries, buns and mulled wine.

    IKEA would like to inform its customers that as of Friday 17th April 2009, the cooked breakfast served in the IKEA restaurant will become part of the rewards of IKEA Family membership.

    From the 17th April the cooked breakfast will be 99p for IKEA FAMILY members and £1.55 for non IKEA FAMILY members Monday to Friday only.

    Joining IKEA Family could not be easier, it's free to join and you can start to take advantage of the benefits straight away.
