It couldn't be easier to get to IKEA Manchester! With fantastic transport links we are just 25 minutes by car from the city centre, 2 minutes from junction 23 on the M60 or just 10 minutes by train from Victoria Station.

IKEA Manchester is conveniently located just 2 mins from junction 23 on the M60. Alternatively if you are travelling from the inner ring road we are straight up Ashton New or Old Road.
On top of that IKEA Manchester welcomes you with a free parking area with over 1000 spaces (covered and open air). Near the entrance spaces are reserved for families and disabled people.

IKEA is sure to be an exciting, inspiring day out for all the family. To help you we have created some store guides to help you plan your experience.

Level 3 & 4 are home to our two main upper car parks providing shelter from the rain and convinient large lifts taking you directly to the main enterance on level two.

Level 2 is The main floor with all of showroom including Sofas, Storage, Office furniture, Kitchens, Dining and Bedrooms where you will find plenty of inspiring roomsets and solutions. Half way through is our main restaurant providing a fantastic selection of meals and refreshments. You then continue into the Home Furnishing Departments where you will find our Cookshop, Textiles, Bathshop and Home Organisation.

Level 1 continues the Home Furnishing with our Lighting and Home Decoration departments.

Level 0 is our self service warehouse, Here most of stock is available for collection on numbered aisles for a quick and convinient pick up of our larger items.

1. How do I return my product?
If you have changed your mind - you have 90 days from the date of purchase to bring your product, along with your receipt, to the Returns department. This department is located next to the store exit.

If the product is faulty - IKEA products are covered by a standard 1 year warranty for any manufacturing fault (do you want to learn more on our guarantees? Click here). Just bring your product and receipt in to the Returns department.


2. What is the best time to come in store?
As we are a large store with a high volume of customers, it is impossible for us to predict quiet times. Weekends and Monday mornings are usually our busiest times; however we do operate a first-come-first-served ticketing system which enables us to deal with customers’ returns in the fairest way.


3. Do I need to provide my receipt?
If you don't have your original receipt then a bank statement can also be taken as your proof of purchase and we might still be able to give you a voucher as refund.


4. I want to return a product but don't have the card that I paid with, what can I do?
It is worth coming in store and checking at the Returns department if the refund can be issued. It will most likely be given on an IKEA refund voucher.


5. I have lost the assembly instructions, where can I find a copy?
Search your product (type the name or article number and click on “search”) on our website as shown below.




Once you are on your product webpage, you can open and save the instructions (these are in PDF format).



6. I need a replacement fitting (nut/bolt/screw/etc), do you have them and how much do they cost?
The spare parts that we can provide to you are the ones that have a number/code next to them in the instructions (click here for an example). We aim to have as many fittings in store for our products as we can. If you have a receipt and/or a reasonable request, then generally, there is no charge for spare parts.
It is always worth going in to the Returns department with the number/code of the part you are missing, as even if we don't have the part that you require, it may be possible that we can order it for you.


7. How do I make a claim using my IKEA FAMILY card insurance?
Being a member of the IKEA FAMILY entitles you to a further guarantee. As long as you have swiped your IKEA FAMILY card when you made your purchase, the product is insured against accidental damage on the journey home from the store and also whilst you are assembling the product. If the product does get damaged, simply return the product along with the receipt and show your IKEA FAMILY card to the Returns department to receive your refund.
