How to make your own mattress covers

We used these mattress covers for a dining room table hack idea, but we were so pleased by how they turned out, we asked our stylist Anna to show us how make them. You could use this idea to add a bit of personality to a day bed, but we just think they’re great for creating a cool place to hang out. Come see how it’s done.

Here’s what you need

2.5m of metre fabric
A mattress
And a sewing machine

Then sew the sides of the fabric together so it becomes like a huge pillow case. Turn it inside out.

And you’re done! Just put the mattress into your new creation. When you’re done relaxing we like to store them away by rolling them up and keeping them tight with a string or belt to store away.
