Easy ways to welcome spring home

28 February 2016

Springtime is inevitably linked with a fresh start. But sometimes a simple refresh can feel like a massive undertaking. So, start small, where the new season meets your home: the windows.

1. START SIMPLE. Open up those windows and let the fresh air in! Since windows become such focal points of the home during the springtime, it’s important that they’re nice and clean. We like to make our own eco-friendly cleaner by combining equal parts water and vinegar, and a bit of fresh lemon juice.

2. NOTHING SAYS SPRINGTIME QUITE LIKE FRESH FLOWERS. So don’t be afraid to go big. Bring out your pots and get started planting your spring favourites. Trust us, there’s no such thing as too many.

3. REMEMBER, IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS. Light colours and textiles really reflect the season, so bring in hints of sheer white, sky blue and natural materials, like birch wood.
