1. are you feeling lucky?
Try out this lucky dip. Just print out these cute chore cards and put the jobs you need done into a jar. Then give it a shuffle and let the kids pick out a chore card to get started.
2. monsters mean more fun
Maybe asking kids to sweep the floor might be a bit more fun if there’s some sticky tape monsters that have to be fed.
3. match ‘em up
By drawing an outline where things should go (we’ve used the kitchen but you could try out your teddy bear drawing skills in their room too) then let kids match the things to the right space.
4. shoot & score!
A super fun way of organising laundry could be fixing baskets on the wall by the washer. You could double the fun by adding a line on the floor to shoot from and different baskets for dfferent types of clothes too.
5. make a cleaning game
For the whole family. We’ve used this chart with chores and points and a height chart to map your scores. All you need to add is the rewards (just make sure there’s some ice cream included).
