"I often work closely with manufacturers, because it gives me new ideas for my work. When I designed IKEA PS tealight holder I collaborated with a company that makes porcelain electrical fuses. Since the fuses have to withstand heat, they make perfect tealight holders. The shape also allows you to use the tealight holders either one by one, or by connecting them into a circle or a long chain. Personally, I like to have many tealights lit at the same time."
