CHILDREN’S FURNITURE

For the most important people in the world

Kids have a lot of work to do – like developing who they are, discovering the world and then starting their journey to independence. So having the right things at home can make it a little easier. From the day you bring them home until they’re almost all grown up, our children’s furniture will help you turn your home into the best possible playground.

Goodbye cords,
hello peace of mind
You may not realise this, but the cords on blinds and curtains pose a strangulation risk for small children. We believe children are the most important people in the world, which is why we work hard to make homes safer. So, we set about adapting our range of blinds and curtains to make your windows as safe as possible. We spent four years coming up with safe alternatives, and where we couldn’t, we simply removed the product from our range.
As of 1/1/2016 IKEA will only offer blinds and curtains without cords, or with non-accessible cords.

LIVING WITH LIGHT
A dream room for your child, great for you
Soft illuminated parents and baby bedroom.
While evening trips to the baby crib may be unavoidable, soft lighting makes it easier for your baby (and perhaps you too) to return to sleep. Bright enough to help you avoid any toys that need to be navigated around in the darkness - and to keep little monsters away.
A soft wall lamp over the baby crib gives your child a feeling of safe in the dark.
Illuminate your child’s world in a wonderful way. With DRÖMSYN wall lamp you’ll get a soft light which encourages winding down and a feeling of safe in the dark.
