Takes time to assemble but a good bedThe instructions are only via pictures but some narrative would have helped. I think with previous experience assembling Ikea furniture, some of the steps were a lot simpler for me.. Connecting the side boards is very easy once you understand how the sub components (screen and locking wheel work) and you can do a 'dry fit them' before inserting them into the headboard and side board. We had the Lonset slats - and the 1st one (2 sets) took way too long and once I gained some experience, the 2nd one was much easier. Put the slats through the strap/ribbon first but make sure you follow the pattern of the different colored slats on the rails. Then assemble this into the side rails.

Excellent bed - worth the time it takes to assemblJust recently purchased this frame and it's well made. The frame;s design is more modern with the support of the metal beams. Assembly is a bit of a lengthy process and definitely needs more than on person's assistance, but over all a good investment.

ReturningI bought 2 Brusali dressers and about 6 months later one of the front legs started pulling away from the whole piece as the plastic screw locks provided could not hold the structure together and the thing is now falling apart. I didn't learn my lesson and have just bought a queen brusali bed frame to match the dressers. The MDF boards have a nice finishing, and it looks good. However, I couldn't even finish the assembly as 4 out of 6 plastic screw locks broke, the piece to the side of the head and the head wouldn't come together as there wasn't enough room for the wooden joints to fit within it. End of story, I am returning this product and getting a 100 bucks Tarva, which I've picked for my kids and showed to be more reliable for it's simplicity and 100% metal screws and locks. Ikea, please enough with plastic locks, they turn a potentially good product in a bad one.

Not a good design. Hurt several times with corner as it sticks out. Not good for kids. Even my guest hurt himself yesterday.
