IKEA Richmond

What if we

What if we used materials that are usually wasted?

What if we lit our store with natural light?

What if we ordered more?

What if we could find a use for a damaged product?

What if we reduced packaging?

At IKEA, we're always looking for ways to make our prices even lower. Look out for our New Lower Prices in store to see where our new innovations are saving you money.

STARTING IN JANUARY
DIY Sustainability Tours!
The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people. This includes doing what we can to help create a world where we take better care of the environment. We know this continuous improvement is a never ending job, and that we’re sometimes part of the problem. But we also work hard to make improvements at every stage, and add them all to a list - Our Never Ending List.

We would like to welcome you to walk through our store, and with the help of our Sustainability Tour booklet, look at some of the products featured on the Never Ending List. The booklet will also tell you about the products and a few of the improvements we’ve made so far.

Booklets will be available in store from the end of January, or download your own below.
GETTING HERE
Travelling to and from IKEA

If you are planning to visit us by public transport, trams 109, 24 and 42 all go past IKEA. Catching the train? You can change to the 109 tram at North Richmond station (Epping and Hurstbridge lines) and Parliament station (all other lines). Bus 684 also services the area. For more information about tram time tables, visit www.yarratrams.com.au

If you bring your car, there are over 2,000 parking spaces over 6 levels. Our trolley minders at the loading bay will look after your purchases while you get your car.

WE'RE GROWING
IKEA Richmond Merchandise Pick-up
So we can have even more new furniture and stock available to you, we are moving the Merchandise Pick-up to an external warehouse located on Grosvenor Street, less than 1 km away from the store.

What does this mean?
From 6 July, some products will need to be collected from the new warehouse if you want to take them home right away.

However, there'll be no more needless waiting for your flatpacks from Merchandise Pick-up if you're getting home delivery, as this can now be organised from the delivery desk after the checkouts!

That means more time to browse, shop, and grab a $1 hot dog from the Swedish Bistro!

Our partners

At the IKEA Group, we believe that taking responsibility for people and the environment is a prerequisite for doing good business. The IKEA FOUNDATION's main partners are UNICEF and Save the Children, and the IKEA Group has a partnership with WWF. Through these partnerships we focus on improving children´s rights and promote responsible forestry, better cotton cultivation and reduction of CO2 emissions.

Every time you swipe your FAMILY card, 10c gets donated to charity. At IKEA Richmond you can choose if you want the donation to go to UNICEF, or to our local charity partner, Berry Street, or 50/50 to both!
