Please note that the IKEA Richmond Småland play area’s hours have changed. Småland’s new operating hours are now 10am – 5pm every day of the week, (including Saturdays and Sundays.)
Drop the kids off at Småland, our free childcare service, and shop uninterrupted! Our play area is located in the store entrance, where children between 3 and 10 are invited to come and have some fun.
Children new to Småland must fill in the form below, which is available here online, or in store before you enter the magical forest of Småland.

Catch the 109 tram anywhere from Port Melbourne to Box Hill, travelling along Collins St in the city. Get off at Stop #24 (Victoria St/Burnley St)
Get the Epping or Hurstbridge line to North Richmond Station. It’s a 20 minute walk down vibrant Victoria St or you can catch the 109 tram and get off at stop #24
Follow the Yarra River on your bike from the city along Capitol City Trail. Take the ramp up to the Walmer St Bridge and turn right onto Burnley St.
Or if you’re travelling by car use Melway reference 44 H7. We have FREE undercover parking, just spend $5 in store and receive 4 hours free parking.
